ERBE is an e-journal, exclusively published online, It is a fully Libre open access operated journal and fulfils the DOAJ definition of open access. Online content is freely accessible to everyone.
Open access is an integral part of our commitment to a collaborative, inclusive and transparent world of research where authors, researchers and academic institutions can share knowledge and build on each other’s work to advance outcomes. In accordance with major definitions of open access in scientific literature, ERBE defines open access by the following conditions:
- Peer-reviewed literature is freely available without subscription or price barriers,
- Literature is immediately released in open access format (no embargo period), and
- Published material can be re-used without obtaining permission, as long as a correct citation to the original publication is given.
Once published, an article will be immediately and permanently available for readers to read, download, and share. Readers will be able to access each article freely on erbe.autonoma.pt.
