a) ERBE accepts original research articles in English.
b) ERBE does not limit the number of words, but authors are strongly encouraged to keep manuscripts to less than 40 pages in total length, including tables and references.
c) Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format, preferabily using Times New Roman, size 12, double space, and converted into a single file before submission.
d) ERBE uses a double-blind system. Accordingly, a title page and a blind version of the work (both in Microsoft Word) must be submitted. The blind version must exclude any references to identifying elements of the author(s), such as name, affiliation, acknowledgments, or any other nature. Failure to comply with this requirement implies the automatic rejection of the manuscript.
e) The title page must include all the name(s) of the author(s) in alphabetical order, the academic / scientific affiliation(s), and e-mail address(es).
f) All manuscripts require using the APA 7 style;
g There are no strict formatting requirements, but all manuscripts must contain the required sections: The manuscript file contains all essential sections (the order can vary): Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References, Figure Captions, and Tables;
h) The abstract can be read as stand-alone text and does not exceed 200 words;
i) Up to five JEL classification code(s) and up to five keywords chosen by the author(s) reflecting the content of the article;
j) A footnote, not sequentially numbered, including acknowledgments and other information about the work, namely, its corresponding author and respective E-mail address, and a declaration about possible conflicts of interest, either concerning the object of the work or to any funding entities, explaining, if any, how they may have affected the exemption of the work;
k) All references mentioned in the References list are cited in the text, and vice versa;
l) Artwork source files must be provided at the appropriate size and resolution (300 dpi) in JPEG, TIFF, or PNG format;
m) A cover letter must be included with each manuscript submission, explaining why the paper’s content is significant and placing the findings in the context of existing work. Also, it should explain why the manuscript fits the journal’s scope.
n) Permission must be obtained for using copyrighted material from other sources, including the Web.
o) With the submission, the author (s) must attach a signed declaration of authoring the work and compliance with anti-plagiarism’s ethical values.
p) Authors must disclose the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by adding a statement at the end of their manuscript in the core manuscript file, before the References list. The statement should be placed in a new section entitled ‘Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process’. If there is nothing to disclose, there is no need to add a statement.
q) The Board reserves the right to reject works that, materially or conceptually, conflict with ERBE’s rules and ethical values.
